In honour of Kathy Andrachuk, who died suddenly on Oct 28, the Hort is setting up a fund for donations in her name to be used for the “Kathy Andrachuk Memorial Grove” project. The link to Kathy’s obituary is here.

There are many ways you can support the Hort:

  • Become a member
  • Come to meetings and events
  • Volunteer to help at meetings and events
  • Contribute an article to the newsletter or website
  • Donate your garden divisions in the spring to the Plant Fair
  • Find some items to donate to the “Green Elephant” sale at the Plant Fair
  • Do some gardening at one of the community gardens we support
  • Become a garden guardian at the Garden Tour or Vegetable Garden tour
  • Donate to the Hort
