Membership

Members need not have their own garden or extensive knowledge of gardening, just an interest in plants, gardens and gardening. All manner of gardeners are welcome—from pot to plot! Our members make gardens on rooftops, apartment balconies, indoors, under glass and under lights, outdoors, and some only in their minds.

 

The membership fee for 2009 is $12. We strive to keep our membership costs low so all members of the community may have an opportunity to participate. Your participation is more important than your dues.

Membership is payable by cash or cheque at any monthly meeting or at the Plant Fair. Make cheques payable to The Horticultural Societies of Parkdale & Toronto. Please do not mail cash.

 

 

Time & Location of Meetings

The Hort meets the last Monday of every month from September to May at the Bonar-Parkdale Presbyterian Church, 250 Dunn Ave., just south of Queen St. West. Doors open at 6:30PM. Meetings start around 7:15PM and Speaker begins at 7:30PM. Arrive after 6:30 and enjoy a coffee and cookies while you check out the Hort Library, chat and ask questions.
