Coach Tour
On Saturday, 26 June 2010, we are off for a special appreciation of the Niagara escarpment area: first, to a guided tour of the Royal Botanical Gardens, where horticulture works with conservation . Down the road at Dundurn Castle we stop for an outdoor tour, to admire the grandeur of the site, and the grace of the 1832 building,. Leaving the majestic terrain of Hamilton Bay behind us, we come to Vineland Nurseries. Here we have received a special invitation from Jim and Simone Lounsberry to see their private collection of mature trees in addition to the nursery. On the way home a vinery expects a visit, and we could also stop at roadside produce opportunities.
The cost is $47.00 (inclusive of the RBG guided tour). To book a seat, e-mail info@parkdaletorontohort.com.
